Modis Bulgaria in partnership with IPT – Intellectual Products & Technologies launch a “Fullstack React, Express and TypeScript” academy in July, 2022.
ReactJS is may be the most popular JavaScript library for building Single Page Applications (SPA), with over 10 million deployments, used in 44.76% of Top10K web sites in the world, according to BuiltWith. The academy provides unique chance to learn how to develop modern, functionally-oriented web components and applications with ReactJS, and how to integrate them in fullstack ТypeScript projects. Lecturers in the academy are Trayan Iliev from IPT, as well as leading developers from Modis, who will share their real projects experience.

The academy is targeted towards beginner and medium level developers with knowledge of web standards (HTTP, REST, CORS, etc.) and practical experience using HTML, CSS and JavaScript. The application process is conducted entirely online, and includes short test and practical programming problem.

IPT – Intellectual Products & Technologies in partnership with MNKnowledge conducted Java Spring training for Fadata (https://www.fadata.eu/) in July 2021.
Java training was intensive, in two weeks, and included topics such as: Spring Boot, Spring Core – annotation-driven, xml and programmatic bean configuration, dependency injection and lookup, Spring MVC, SpEL, Spring AOP, Spring JDBC, Hibrnate, JPA, Spring Data JPA, DTO mapping, TDD, Domain Driven Design, SOA development – REST services, Spring Security.

The training is a part of the sequence of courses, conducted by IPT for Fadata including trainings for Java programmers and front-end development with ReactJS and TypeScript.

The participants demonstrated excellent abilities and motivation, rising their level of developer skills to be able to implement their own REST API project including JWT security and demonstrating the usage of the above technologies.
During the training were given multiple homework problems, and participants solved all of them successfully, receiving additional feedback form the instructor.

On May 19-th at jProfessionals Prime Edition stage, Trayan Iliev from IPT will present “Structured Concurrency, Virtual Threads and Goroutines: Java vs. Go”.

The presentation starts at 19:30 h and will have duration of 1 hour including the questions.

Description:

The talk compares the lightweight concurrency models implemented in Java as Virtual Threads (VT) by project Loom and in Golang as goroutines. The lightweight green threads M:N execution model is only part of the whole picture – there are important aspects of inter-thread/coroutine communication, error handling, interruption, preemption, timeouts, scheduling, context propagation. Different solutions to these problems proposed by the structured concurrency (SC) pattern employed by project Loom are compared to communicating sequential processes (CSP) abstraction using channels in Golang. Talk concludes by comparing some popular concurrent programming patterns implemented using virtual threads, goroutines and channels, and reactive programming libraries (RxJava, RxGo, Spring Reactor).

The event is organized by Bulgarian Java  User Group (BGJUG) and is free to attend: https://www.facebook.com/events/1424262907945830/

IPT provides high-quality, instructor-led corporate trainings covering in depth all practical aspects of server-side application/Web API development with Golang, Kotlin, and Java,  as well as front-end development with Angular and ReactJS.

“Making Machine Learning Easy with H2O and Spring” will be presented by Trayan Iliev, Developer, IT trainer, and CTO of IPT – Intellectual Products & Technologies Ltd. @ #Java2Days #Conference on 21-23 December 2020.

Abstract:
Machine learning is becoming a must for many business domains and applications. H2O is a best-of-breed, open source, distributed machine learning library written in Java. The presentation shows how to create and train different type of supervised and unsupervised machine learning models easily using H2O Flow web interface – including Deep Learning Neural Networks, Automatic Machine Learning AutoML), Distributed Random Forest (DRF), Generalized Linear Model (GLM), Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM), XGBoost, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Generalized Low Rank Models (GLRM), Word2Vec among the many. The session finishes with a demo showing how to incorporate some of the trained models in a real-time streaming web service implemented using Spring 5 Web Flux and Spring Boot.

IPT – Intellectual Products & Technologies conducted a course for Fadata (https://www.fadata.eu) in partnership with MNK on Full-stack Application Development using ReactJS, Express and TypeScript, during which participants learned how to setup client and server-side TypeScript projects, developed type-safe components, single page applications (SPA), and backend REST/JSON APIs using technologies such as Webpack, ReactJS, Formik, Redux, NodeJS, ExpressJS, MongoDB, Socket.IO.

The Full-stack Application Development course using ReactJS, Express and TypeScript is aimed at beginners and intermediate developers with experience in HTML, CSS and JavaScript, and provides in-depth practical experience with latest TypeScript, ReactJS, NodeJS and Express platforms and tools for rapid development of modern, component-based, mobile-first web applications that are easy to maintain and extend.

The workshop allows each participant to develop own components and applications with React, Redux and Formik, emphasizing practical aspects such as form validation and feedback, dynamic routing, centralized state handling using Redux Toolkit (for better developer experience), full-stack security solution using JWT/JWE, etc. Scheduled regular discussions and code reviews, presented by each participant, enable group problem solving and constant monitoring of participants’ progress.
