]]>The training is a part of the sequence of courses, conducted by IPT for Fadata including trainings for Java programmers and front-end development with ReactJS and TypeScript.
The participants demonstrated excellent abilities and motivation, rising their level of developer skills to be able to implement their own REST API project including JWT security and demonstrating the usage of the above technologies.
During the training were given multiple homework problems, and participants solved all of them successfully, receiving additional feedback form the instructor.

]]>The post Trayan Iliev from IPT will present Structured Concurrency and Goroutines: Java vs. Go @jProfessionals on May 19-th appeared first on IPT - Intellectual Products & Technologies.
]]>The presentation starts at 19:30 h and will have duration of 1 hour including the questions.
Description:
The talk compares the lightweight concurrency models implemented in Java as Virtual Threads (VT) by project Loom and in Golang as goroutines. The lightweight green threads M:N execution model is only part of the whole picture – there are important aspects of inter-thread/coroutine communication, error handling, interruption, preemption, timeouts, scheduling, context propagation. Different solutions to these problems proposed by the structured concurrency (SC) pattern employed by project Loom are compared to communicating sequential processes (CSP) abstraction using channels in Golang. Talk concludes by comparing some popular concurrent programming patterns implemented using virtual threads, goroutines and channels, and reactive programming libraries (RxJava, RxGo, Spring Reactor).
The event is organized by Bulgarian Java User Group (BGJUG) and is free to attend: https://www.facebook.com/events/1424262907945830/
IPT provides high-quality, instructor-led corporate trainings covering in depth all practical aspects of server-side application/Web API development with Golang, Kotlin, and Java, as well as front-end development with Angular and ReactJS.

]]>The post Trayan Iliev presents Machine Learning with H2O and Spring @Java2Days on 22 Nov 2020 appeared first on IPT - Intellectual Products & Technologies.
]]>Abstract:
Machine learning is becoming a must for many business domains and applications. H2O is a best-of-breed, open source, distributed machine learning library written in Java. The presentation shows how to create and train different type of supervised and unsupervised machine learning models easily using H2O Flow web interface – including Deep Learning Neural Networks, Automatic Machine Learning AutoML), Distributed Random Forest (DRF), Generalized Linear Model (GLM), Gradient Boosting Machine (GBM), XGBoost, Principal Component Analysis (PCA), Generalized Low Rank Models (GLRM), Word2Vec among the many. The session finishes with a demo showing how to incorporate some of the trained models in a real-time streaming web service implemented using Spring 5 Web Flux and Spring Boot.
